PingTree™ lead provision is more than a fire and forget exercise. To maintain a long standing relationship with our lenders, lead volume and quality must meet the expectations of our lending partners.

Lead Volume & Throttling

PingTree™ develops an average run rate of 3,000 leads per day with spikes of up to 10,000 leads in a single day. Not every lender wants or needs this volume.

Recognising this, we launched our Lead Throttling enhancement to the PingTree™ early in 2009, allowing lending partners to specify :

• How many leads are required each day
• How many accepts are required each day
• Accepted hours of operation for lead forwarding
• Accepted days of week for lead forwarding

Lead Quality

Lead quality is the most critical measure to monitor with our lending partners, to ensure that conversion is as high as possible and default rates are as low as possible.

We encourage our lending partners to support a ‘Lead Source ID’ field in the XML POST, enabling us to identify by channel, the quality of conversion, fraud and default, and to act where a channel’s leads are not meeting the quality required.

This both simplifies channel management for our lenders and allows us to spot quickly any channel which may be dragging down the overall lead quality.
